Kartikeya Gummakonda is an Indian film actor who predominantly works
in Telugu films. He rose to fame with his acting in the 2018 film
RX100. He is known for his performance as an antagonist in Gang
Leader.Kartikeya was born in Hyderabad to Gummakonda Vittal Reddy and
Gummakonda Rajani who were residents of Marriguda, a village and
Mandal in Nalgonda district. His father is the Chairman of Nagarjuna
Group of Schools, Vanasthalipuram and Kartikeya finished his schooling
in the same at Ranga Reddy District. He continued his 10+2 in FIITJEE
College, Saifabad. Graduating from the National Institutes of
Technology, Warangal, he later chose to continue his career in
acting.Kartikeya made his acting debut with Prematho Mee Karthik
(2017), which went unnoticed. His second movie, RX 100, directed by
Ajay Bhupathi, was a success at the box office. His performance as a
village man who falls for a city girl was praised by critics. His next
film was Hippi, directed by Tamil director Krishna and produced by
Kalaipuli S. Thanu. Kartikeya worked out in order to achieve
authenticity in the role of a kickboxer. The film was released to
below average reviews. His second film of 2019 was Guna 369, which
received mixed reviews because of its slow-moving and clichd content.
Guna 369 is about a real incident that took place in Ongole. In a
review of the film by The Times of India, the reviewer wrote that
"Karthikeya does his best to pour life into the titular character".

Kumar liked his acting in RX 100, and he received positive reviews for
